Fairytale Veils

I had so much fun making these sparkle veils, it has definitely been my favorite project so far with Elite. These particular veils are 98", a standard length for full-length veils, the other sizes of veils are 54" and 72" for short veils, and 126" for a cathedral-length veils.

The sparkle fabric I created these veils with is a beautiful sheer tulle covered in fine glitter that catches every glimmer of light making it a true fairytale. I made two of these veils, one in ivory and one in champagne to go with a variety of dresses at Elite.

While making these veils it is essential to keep a clean line while cutting the tulle and leave no crocodile teeth edges, as there are no hems on a veil it is just a straight raw edge. When hand stitching the veil piece into the comb it first needs to be gathered from the top edge and then sewn underneath the wrap on the comb; keeping the stitch line hidden so the finish is neat and professional.
